Example

Vaan casts Attack on a Wolf and the Wolf counters it by automatically casting Attack.

A counter will be interrupted if the caster can no longer attack (e.g. ko, stop, ...) or if the target can no longer be attacked (e.g. ko, x-zone, ...).
