The Insurgent's Scalable Foes - Scale the power of all foes to tweak the game's difficulty at any point of a play-through.

Description

The stats of a unit (foe, ally, npc, ...) is split into 2 sections: Default stats which are used when a unit spawns, and additive stats which are used for every level up.

For example: In one location, a wolf is configured to randomly spawn between level 1 and level 3. If it spawns at level 1, then it will only utilize its default stats. If it spawns at level 3, then it will utilize its default stats and also add its additive stats on top of it 2 (3-1) times.

These stats can be modified with either the ARD Editor of The Insurgent's Toolkit or The Insurgent's Workshop.

Usually scaling the game's difficulty by increasing the stats of all foes by 20% would require modifying every single foe in the game one by one.

Features

This mod allows to globally scale the stats of all foes very easily via a configuration file. So not only does it save a lot of time, but it also allows to tweak the game's difficulty at any point of a play-through.

The following default and additive stats can be scaled, each one with their own unique multiplier:

  • Max HP

  • Max MP

  • Strength

  • Magick Power

  • Vitality

  • Speed

  • Attack Power

  • Defense

  • Magick Resist

  • Evade (Parry)

  • Evade (Weapon)

  • Evade (Shield)

  • Magick Evade (Shield)

  • Experience

  • License Points

  • Clan Points

  • Gil

  • Level
