Includes the article of an object that is appended to the beginning of a dialog whenever a single amount of the object is displayed.

So Staff of the Magi would change to a Staff of the Magi.

Plural

Includes the plural form of an object which replaces the entire dialog whenever multiple amounts of the object are displayed.

So Staff of the Magi would change to Staves of the Magi.

Its also possible to copy part of the original dialog via tags such as Copy N and Copy All.
